Sheila M. Stevenson

SheilaHuggingChewbackaSheila M. Stevenson has been writing since childhood, most often using her creativity as a form of self-therapy.  In high school she wrote a short play, which was presented to the student body. During her years in business Sheila acquired an admirable reputation for sending thoughtful thank you and congratulatory notes. She has lived in London, Ontario, Canada most of her life except for 10 years in Montreal and one and a half years in Edinburgh.

Sheila has a loving, respectful and fun relationship with her two children and four grandchildren, is the proud aunt of five nephews and is now a great-aunt to a little boy and his sister.  Sheila also has many “furry” friends who happen to live at other people’s homes.

In 1996/97 Sheila wrote a monthly column titled “Trends in Customer Service” for Business Trends Magazine. From 1994 to 1997 she contributed several articles to The Enterprising Woman, a local business newsletter.  Sheila has served on the St. Thomas District Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, The London Advertising & Sales Club Board of Directors, and currently serves with Youth Opportunities Unlimited Board of Directors, and as past Treasurer of Breakfast Meeting for Women.  She has also served as Chair on many committees, and is involved with fundraising for several organizations including SARI Therapeutic Riding, My Sister’s Place and London Health Sciences Foundation through BMW (breakfastmeetingforwomen.com), and also for Childreach Centre. Sheila’s passion for learning, growing, and helping others has empowered her to write this book.
